The slab heading is a feature that allows adding to the process of stress relief cuts. These cuts have the task of refiling the slab along the edges.
The functionality can be activated in the perimeter creation panel.
In the following example screen there is a scheme that represents the four cuts, one for side, that you can insert.

Heading of the slab
To add/remove a stress relief cut on the slab, select the corresponding side.
The value of Offset allows to specify the distance of the Heading from the edge of the Slab.

NOTE

You can heading only slabs having rectangular perimeter. It does not work in 'by points' mode.
It is also possible to head more perimeters in a different way.

Execution of working

On the working area, the program checks that the operator does not position pieces outside of the slab header.
Is furthermore possible magnetize the pieces to these cuts, as showed in figure.

During execution of the cutting program, the machine will execute these refilatures before any other operation. Immediately after, a heading pause will be carried out, so as to give the operator the time to remove the discarded slab material.
In this way, successive operations of handling the slab through vacuum cups could be executed without the impediment of these refilings.
It is possible to see these operations also inside the list in the screen of management and optimization of the cuts.
