DOC2.3.1 TOOL PARAMETERS

The operator can define the tool parameters:

For a new project, the data is loaded automatically according to the tool physically installed;
for a previously saved machining operation, the tool data is the data already saved in the previous program.

Tool name
Displays the name of the selected tool.

Thickness
Indicates the blade thickness in the cutting direction (blade body thickness).

Diameter
Maximum blade diameter, measured from one edge of the toothed rim to the other.

CRF (Flange Rotation Centre)
Measures the distance between the inner edge of the tooth on the blade currently fitted to the machine and the C rotation axis.

Safety clearance
Safety distance between the blade and the worktable.

RPM (Revolutions Per Minute)
Number of blade revolutions per minute during operation.
