The ‘Inclination’ function defines a machining operation with the A axis different from 0.
The interface for the “Miter Cut” working type is similar to the following image:

Mode
![]() | Square direction _ |
![]() | Square direction - |
Parameters
Degrees | Represents the angle between the direction of the mounted tool and the surface of the material to be processed. |
Executing the working
The working can be applied by pressing the button to the left of the appropriate cut in the polygon list.
A red icon with an 'X' indicates that the working cannot be applied to the desired cut.
Once the square direction has been selected, enter the desired value next to it and select the cut on which to set the miter cut.
Applying the working will display the miter cut in a different colour.
Two different results can be obtained depending on the selected square direction:
Square direction: Positive
In the following example image, the miter cut working (45.0_) with positive square direction has been applied to every side except the internal arc, because the tool cannot be inclined inside the perimeter.

Square direction: Negative
In the example image shown, miter cut workings (45.0_) with negative square direction have been applied to the cuts of the piece in the opposite way to the configuration shown in the previous paragraph
