On the cut management page, optimisations can be applied for the SX machine to improve spindle combinations during cutting.

Mode 1

This mode joins two different cuts on the same straight line, making them a single cut.

Mode 2

Attempts to make all cuts the same (maximum) length.

Mode 3

Normally, after the material handling system has been used, it is not possible to manually move execution of a cut to before the movement.
With this optimisation mode, the software places cuts that the machine can perform before the movement.

Mode 4

Cuts of similar length are made the same length.

Mode 5

Extends all cuts beyond the slab edge and makes them similar in length, as in mode 2.
